Girls basketball conditioning for today, has been cancelled

Spanish Circle would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way to make the Houston High School Fall Blood Drive a success. We had 51 successful donations and of those, 29 were first time donors. That is potentially 150 lives that we saved last Friday. Awesome job! Don't forget if you were deferred you can go to St. Michael's Hall in Loramie this afternoon and try again.  And in December, the Houston Community Center will be hosting another drive and we'll all be eligible again to donate.  

Seniors: Wednesday is College Application Day. You will have a set time to work in the computer lab on materials to prepare you for after high school. There will be college reps there to answer questions and help you through your applications. See Mrs. Merickel if you have any questions.
 
With Wednesday being College Application Day, high school students and staff are encouraged to wear a college hoodie or shirt on Wednesday.
 
Arial Strunk has been selected as the Houston High School delegate to the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership conference. Arial will get a chance next summer to stay on a college campus at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Congratulations, Arial!

Spanish Circle bon fire 6-8 PM

Cross Country County Meet Results: The HS Girls finished 4th. 1st team All County Hollie Voisard and 2nd team Morgan Ely. HS boys finished 2nd. 1st team All County Tristin Freistuhler, and Ethan Knouff. 2nd Team Blake Jacobs. For JH Girls Ava Knouff finished in 2nd place. JH Boys finished the season with a 4th place finish. Congratulations to the Jr. High teams for having a great season and improving throughout the year 

HS Volleyball Tournament tonight VS. Botkins at Arcanum 8:00 start time. Bus will leave at 5:45 


Monday Morning Announcements (10-16-17)

JH Cross Country please turn in your uniforms to the office to Mrs. Garber today

Seniors: If you did not turn in your graduation order Jostens will be here on Monday October 30th before school in the Commons. Please bring in your order forms and a $75.00 down payment. Extra packets are available in the office. 

Class rings will be delivered on Monday October 30th. before school in the Commons.Payments of cash or money order only, no checks are accepted. If you want to order a class ring bring a 50 dollar deposit and see a representative for assistance.Extra packets are available in the office.   

For all high school and junior high girl basketball players, Just a reminder that the girls basketball web store will close tonight, Monday October 16th, so if you need to order your t-shirt and or practice jersey, please take care of that by this evening.

Junior High Volleyball players should return their uniform shorts to Coach Maier by Thursday.
